Personal Data We Process

• Account data from OAuth. When you sign in with GitHub or Google, we receive information those providers share with us, typically your name, email address, profile image, and a provider account identifier.
• Session data. We create a signed session so you can stay logged in, open your dashboard, and download the asset pack. We may store which provider you used for the current session.
• Technical logs. Server logs may include IP address, browser type, request path, and timestamps, used for security, debugging, and abuse prevention.
• Cookie notice. We store that you acknowledged the cookie banner in your browser (local storage).

Purposes & Legal Bases (GDPR)

• Provide the service (account, sign-in, download): performance of a contract / steps at your request (Art. 6(1)(b)).
• Essential cookies & security: legitimate interests in operating a secure service (Art. 6(1)(f)), and where required for authentication, necessity for the service you request.
• Support emails you send us: legitimate interests or steps related to your request.

Cookies

We use essential cookies for OAuth sign-in, session management, and CSRF/security. The site cannot offer login or download without these. You can dismiss the cookie notice via the banner; blocking essential cookies in your browser may prevent sign-in and downloads from working.

Sharing & Processors

We use processors to run the service, including GitHub and Google (OAuth), our hosting provider, and our database provider. They process data under their own terms. We do not sell personal data.

International Transfers

Your data may be processed in countries outside your own, including where our hosting, database, or OAuth providers operate. Where GDPR applies, we rely on appropriate safeguards used by those providers (such as Standard Contractual Clauses) when required.

Retention

We keep account and session records for as long as needed to provide the service and meet security or legal requirements. You may request deletion as described below.

Your Rights (GDPR)

If you are in the EEA/UK (or another region with similar rights), you may have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you
• Rectify inaccurate data
• Erase your account data ("right to be forgotten")
• Restrict or object to certain processing
• Data portability, where applicable
• Lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority

To exercise these rights, email joyjiu@weather-icons.top. We may need to verify that the request comes from the account holder. You can also sign out from your dashboard at any time.

Children

The service is not directed to children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their personal data.

Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top will change when we do.
